Ladies and Gentleman, feast your eyes on a stunner that will turn heads and steal hearts with just a glimpse. “A Nickle Fritz” is a reg AQHA Gelding who is a 2017 model, classy looking Grulla color standing 14.3hh. Fritz checks many boxes for those of you searching for a family, trail, or a ranch show horse. At 8 years old, he has years of experience under his belt, giving you the same honesty and maturity in every ride, no matter how much time he is given off. Fritz is suitable for almost any level or age rider. Any adult or experienced child will get along wonderfully with him, we recommend a beginner child to be in a controlled environment with supervision when riding him as we have not personally turned the kids loose with him. Fritz would make a phenomenal addition for anyone who would like to show in the ranch horse classes. He is experienced on the trails; whether riding through open plains or through thick timber. He will cross ditches, water, downed timber, and do it all with a graceful ease. Whether you ride him at the lead, middle or end of the group, Fritz will ride quietly. He also rides out alone without any fuss. Fritz is accustomed to riding down busy highways, and through the mainstreets of our small town. He is not bothered by traffic or pedestrians, he is even used to the horseplay you’ll find around jungle gyms at the park. One thing that I absolutely love about Fritz is how agile he is; you can see that he puts thought into the placement of each foot and is totally aware of his body position. Fritz has a lovely extended trot, smooth transitions, a true one hand neck rein, and an easy stop. He will lope beautiful, even circles; picking up his leads correctly on cue with a smooth departure. Fritz will side pass, open and close gates, and has a very correct turn around. He will ride bareback and even ride bridleless – whether you are in the arena, on mainstreet, or out in the wide open fields. Fritz has been hauled a lot and has seen the sights, helping him to be seasoned and comfortable away from home. He loads and trailers with ease. Fritz is wonderful for the farrier, and stands perfectly to be shoed. He is easy to bathe as well. Fritz is comfortable whether he is stalled or turned out in the pasture, and gets along well with pasture mates. Included in his paper work is a 5 panel genetic test result, all of which are negative (5 panel n/n). Fritz is a true pleasure to be around, and I know you will enjoy him as much as I have. If you have any questions, or would like to meet Fritz prior to the auction ending, please call Edwin at 319-283-0616.
