Melodie is initially a cautious mare when it comes to humans. However, once she forms a bond with a person, she has a heart of gold and enjoys being groomed and scratched. She was backed at the age of three but was quickly withdrawn from riding due to a mild lameness. She has a screw in her fetlock and slight changes at the origin of the suspensory ligament (veterinary documentation available). Since then, she has been a companion horse. She was once bred but unfortunately did not conceive. I can see her either as a companion or possibly in breeding. Whether she can be ridden again should be assessed by a veterinarian, as she is explicitly sold as UNRIDEABLE. Overall, she is a wonderful mare who is just a bit cautious around people. With some training, this will undoubtedly improve – and it has already gotten better. She currently lives in an open stable but is also accustomed to box stall housing with daily turnout. I am selling the mare on behalf of the owner. If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to contact me via WhatsApp at 01737544123.
