Orofino presents himself as a classic protagonist, following in the footsteps of his highly esteemed sire, who achieved recognition at a young age and was a finalist at last year's World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. He displays a noble and refined type, with a distinctly masculine appearance, and makes a highly impressive impression in the attire of a future dressage star. He moves uphill with great dynamism across all gaits, demonstrating a well-repetitive hind leg and the desired shoulder freedom. 

His highly awarded dam, one of the last daughters of the legendary Celle thoroughbred Lauries Crusador xx, was among the top mares of her foaling year and has proven excellent in breeding. She is a sister of the esteemed sire Osiander, the premium stallion Octavian, and closely related to top-valued sire Olymp, as well as to the premium mares Ondra, Olivia, Ostera, and Octavia.
