Shettland Pony Samy is looking for a new forever home  
Born on April 7, 2011  
Standing at 1.10 meters (approx. 14.2 hh)  

He is free from larger children and can be ridden by smaller riders on a lunge line in all gaits. He is ridden bitless with a sidepull or a knot halter.  
He is led into the terrain and remains unafraid. He is familiar with cars, bicycles, and other animals of all kinds and has no issues with them.  
My 3-year-old daughter can lead him without any problems. He is always cautious and gentle.  
Herd-compatible and playful. When it comes to ponies smaller than him, he may be dominant. With larger horses, whether geldings or mares, he is uncomplicated and submits accordingly.  
I have also worked with him in riding pedagogy, which he handled very well.  
He has been trained on a double lunge line and professionally schooled in horsemanship.  
Due to founder issues at his previous owner, he should not be turned out on pasture. Since coming to me, he only receives hay and mineral feed, and he has had no problems since. His last episode was over four years ago, caused when he plundered our carrots through a broken fence. Otherwise, he is not fence-shy.  

He is well-behaved with the farrier and veterinarian. The farrier comes every six weeks. He has always been barefoot with me. His teeth were done two years ago.  
Initially, he can be a bit picky when being fed, but this has improved significantly since he came to me. I do not feed him from my hand.  

Since he gets too warm in the box at night during winter, I clip him partially. He stands calmly and remains unbothered.  
He also has no problem with open stable management.  

Little Samy is very clever and loves to be cuddled. Due to two older ponies that now require more care and the pony for my daughter, I am completely booked and unable to give him the attention he needs.  

Therefore, I am looking for an experienced owner, preferably a mother, who wants to spend quality time with her child and a wonderful pony, with whom you can do anything—no matter how silly.  

Please remember that he is a living being. Ponies can sometimes be quite clever—just pony things 😉  

I am seeking a good home for him:  
- Due to lack of space and switching to a larger pony  
- I only sell to herd-kept ponies, as this is essential for him  
- Not an urgent sale  
- Priority is the right home, not the price!
