Lorrie is a stunning Black Bay registered Friesian cross mare with all the looks in the world. This mare is so pretty to look at and even prettier to watch move. She is pretty headed, naturally expressive and a stunning mover.
Under saddle Lorrie has had a lot of experience both outside of the arena and inside the arena. She has carried many riders on numerous group trail rides that include water crossings and over night camping, and has recently been tuned up with about 6 months of performance training. She is soft in the face, works off leg, and supple throughout her body. She has beautiful correct lope/canter departures, will collect up or extend out effortlessly, and has great lateral work. She naturally stays engaged and will comfortably ride into contact or ride bridle less. She is extremely athletic and so good minded and easy to train, very smooth, comfortable, and uncomplicated. She has also been taken over some small cross rails and done cavaltti work. Besides being well broke to ride, Lorrie is also well broke to drive and is very fancy in harness.
Lorrie is extremely pleasant to be around on the ground. Great manners, will stand tied all day long, easy to load & haul, great in new environments, and never a fuss. Lorrie has been bred, producing a stunning 3/4 friesian colt and was very easy to settle, foal out and was a great mother. She has been with the same owner for the past few years, and as much as she hates to sell her, she is excited for Lorrie’s future in both the performance arena or breeding barn.
