Athletic Appaloosa/Westphalian Mare Seeking Experienced Partner

4 years old | 15.2 hands | Appaloosa/Westphalian cross.

This beautiful mare is looking for a knowledgeable horseperson who appreciates an athletic, intelligent horse with plenty of personality. She was previously ridden and shown regularly by a young rider in jumping and was actively worked until a suspensory injury approximately 1½ years ago. She has since completed rehabilitation and has been living comfortably in a pasture setting with minimal work over the past year.

She is not a beginner's horse and will do best with a confident, experienced rider or handler who enjoys building a partnership with a sensitive, forward-thinking mare. She can be spirited and opinionated at times, but she is also smart, athletic, and capable when given clear direction.

On the ground, she would be a great candidate for activities such as:

Barrel and pole
Liberty work
Obstacle courses
Trail challenges
Ground driving
Trick training
Ranch versatility groundwork
Horsemanship and confidence-building exercises

She is beautiful to look at, enjoys turnout, and gets along well with other horses. She has an elegant presence in the pasture and naturally draws attention.
