Chaleco is my charming Andalusian gelding, whom I purchased here three years ago. From the very first moment I met him, he enchanted me with his big heart and tireless curiosity.

VIDEOS:

Dressage: https://youtu.be/Lqp8J4i6DH4

Cross-country: https://youtu.be/0KeWjlmVudg

Liberty/Free Dressage: https://youtu.be/A0-vZjVFF8M

Chaleco’s natural curiosity and strong willingness to work are reflected in his dressage training. He is extremely eager to learn and always wants to be challenged. With his very sensitive mouth, he responds beautifully to light aids and has mastered the following exercises:

Basic gaits (walk, trot, canter)

Shoulder-in (walk, trot, canter)

Shoulder-out (walk, trot, canter)

Leg-yield (walk, trot, canter)

Transitions walk > canter

Transitions full halt > walk/trot/canter (and vice versa)

Rein back

Flying changes in canter

Free jumping up to 1.20 m

Jumping under saddle up to 1.00 m

His movements are impressively elegant, he is very comfortable to sit, reacts to the finest aids, and combines strength with great motivation to work. Chaleco brings excellent quality that, with the right rider, makes him a very promising dressage horse.

Currently, Chaleco has a 15-year-old part-lease rider who is just beginning to introduce him to jumping. He also hacks out alone, but only with experienced riders he feels safe with.

Chaleco loves being around people and other horses and needs his daily share of cuddles. Especially in liberty dressage he shows himself to be a true natural talent. He not only masters free circling at walk and trot, but also recall training and waiting. He can already perform some small circus tricks such as the bow, “saying no,” and “smiling” with ease. At the moment, we are working on teaching him the Spanish walk.

It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new, loving home for this wonderful young gelding, ideally in Germany. You are warmly invited to meet Chaleco in person, and I will gladly assist you with everything related to purchase, transport, and settling him into your stable.

If you have any questions or are interested, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
