I’m privileged to offer you the opportunity to own this majestic, flashy gelding! Meet “Sterling”. Sterling is a 7 year old Quarter Horse-Percheron Cross Gelding, standing a stout 15.3 hands tall, weighing in around 1,300 pounds. Sterling exceeds all expectations in every direction. This honest gelding will take you in any direction, wherever you need to go. His phonomal disposition and excessive willingness to please makes him the perfect family horse. Sterling has had professional, extensive training and is truly push button. He is 100% desensitized with anything you could imagine, balls, tarps, whips, flags, farm equipment, obstacles, cows, dogs and semis. Sterling is 100% TSS. He has been ridden on main highways and through town with flags whipping and never misses a beat. Sterling is 100% neck reined as well as 100% leg pressure trained, either way you choose to ride, he’s always on point. He is a master on the trails as well as in the arena. He will stay steady and slow, or he will kick it up and move! Sterling loves water and is always confident in any situation you put him in on the trails. He crosses logs, over bridges, down the steepest hills, and up the roughest terrain with ease. You can ride Sterling bridleless, bareback, english (he loves to jump!), western, double, or hook him up to a carriage and take off! Sterling has exceptional transitions, with the smoothest trot and rocking chair lope! He stands great for the ferrier, and to be bathed. He hauls like a dream and will even load himself with no halter on. You can let this gelding sit for 6 months, pull him from the pasture, jump on and go, hes never fresh. He has no vices or bad habits. With the snap of a finger he will side pass for you to mount. He knows the word “Stay” and will only come to you once you snap your finger and tell him to “come”. Sterling sits and lays down on command for you to mount and dismount! Although it is never nessery, he will even lunge himself just for fun! He has been on countless over night camping trips, and will stay tied to a picket line all day and night with ease. He rides out alone or with large groups of people and strange horses. Sterling has no spook or buck and gets along great with other horses. He is started on cattle and gets down and gritty, he would enjoy the life on a ranch!
