Meet Big Tony — a 13-year-old, 14.1 hand golden palomino paint gelding who has officially earned his title as Trail Horse Deluxe. He’s the kind that makes you relax the moment you swing a leg over, because you know he’s got everything handled. Tony is as broke and easy as they come. One-hand neck rein, soft lope, good stop, patient, forgiving — he’s the whole package. He’s simple, honest, and always the same no matter the day or the place. If you can steer a bicycle, you can ride Big Tony. His passport of experiences reads like an adventure catalog: parades, town traffic, rivers, bridges, brush, logs, tarps, pool noodles, cattle work, and every obstacle someone could dream up. None of it rattles him. He’ll carry the littlest rider or the greenest adult without batting an eye, always with his big kind heart leading the way. In the arena he’s just as straight forward and easy picks up leads stops and backs nicely. On the ground, Tony is just as deluxe. He ties, clips, bathes, hauls, and stands quiet for the farrier. He’s happy in a stall or pasture and greets you at the gate like an old friend who’s always glad to see you. Big Tony isn’t trying to be a fancy show horse. He’s better than that. He’s the dependable, steady, go-anywhere, do-anything gelding that families keep forever because life is just easier with him around. If you’ve been searching for a trustworthy partner to trail ride, or simply enjoy day in and day out, this is the guy.
