17-Jährige westfälische Schimmelstute sucht Bestplatz

We are looking for a loving companion or breeding home for our 17-year-old Westphalian mare.  

Due to health issues (a combination of gastritis, temporomandibular joint inflammation, melanomas on her gums, and shoulder problems), she was only partially rideable at the end of 2022 and has since been enjoying a peaceful pasture life. As I currently lack the time to care for her properly due to family and professional commitments, I am seeking a caring and suitable environment for our mare.  

It is important that she is kept in a species-appropriate manner, with permanent access to hay, social contact, and sufficient turnout, even in winter (e.g., open stable, pasture, etc.).  

Our mare has been trained in jumping and dressage up to L-level and has been presented at competitions. She is a very affectionate and people-oriented mare with plenty of energy, especially during the colder months. Not suitable for beginners. Her height is approximately 16.1 hh.  

She loads easily and is very well-behaved at the farrier and veterinarian.
