Wisemans Dreams a.k.a. dreamer is a 3yr old 15.2 hand tall percheron quarter horse cross mare. Dreamer is out of a registered Quarter horse stallion and I do have the pedigree and she is eligible for half quarter horse papers.

Dreamer is a nice stout built mare, but she’s not your typical draft cross she has some agility to her and can move around like a quarter horse. So she is NOT clutzy at all. She is very sure footed. And she is stout enough to carry a bigger rider.

Dreamer is promising to be one amazing trail horse. She will go up and down any steep bank you ask with NO hesitations. She crosses any kind of water whether it’s a little creek or a big river. She crosses big logs, big rocks, and she’ll go across bridges big or small.

That’s the one thing that really impresses me about her is that she never hesitates out on the trail you point and she’ll go. She is very careful about how she places her feet too. If she’s working down a steep bank or hill she’s picks her way down very carefully.

She is fine with traffic mainly been ridden down back quiet country roads so she’s only seen light traffic. But any traffic we have run into she’s been fine with it all.

She rides away from home alone just fine. And she has good ground manners she stands still for the farrier she’s gets the hot shoe treatment. She stands good for tacking and mounting. She won’t walk off until you ask. She loads right in the trailer and backs right out. And hauls just fine.

Dreamer is a very well minded young horse and has lots of potential to take it another step further. Dreamer is still a young horse though so I would not call her a beginner horse she needs someone that has experience that knows how to work with a young horse. She has had about 3-4 months under saddle now and she is doing amazing for her age and the time she’s had. She has a smooth slow trot that’s easy to post to and she has a smooth lope that’s easy to sit to.

She knows how to move off of your leg both shoulders and hindquarters. She also neck reins and knows how to pick up her correct leads in the arena. She is comfortable in the arena doesn’t mind doing circle work. And she has done road work and is fine out on the dirt roads, but lately her main thing we have been doing is the trails. And she really seems to enjoy the trails the best. First time out on the trails most young horses would hesitate to cross a creek or the little bridges etc. But NOT Dreamer she always goes right where I point her.

She has a good mind on her and is ready to go in any new direction someone wants to take with her. Dreamer comes up to date on her vaccines, dewormings, coggins, and vet check. Just give a call if you have any questions or want to set up a time to come see her.
