Gigolo is a stunning 9-year-old Lusitano gelding who immediately wins hearts with his characteristic pinto charm and affectionate nature. He impresses with expressive, lively gaits and an honest character. He is usually very eager to perform, driven by abundant energy and motivation when ridden.  

Currently, he is only conditionally rideable, as he has been worked less in recent weeks. Due to significant changes in his living circumstances, we are no longer able to give him the attention he deserves, and it is with a heavy heart that we must part with him. With regular training, he will quickly regain his former form – he is very eager to learn and always wants to please.  

He is confident in walk, trot, and canter – both with and without a rider. He can be reliably ridden in the indoor arena, riding paddock, jumping arena, and on trails. Lateral movements, shoulder-ins, and forehand turns are well within his repertoire. He is very well-behaved in the field, though he may be slightly unsure in new environments at first. He has completed small jumps with a rider and has successfully participated in free jumping.  

Gigolo is familiar with cows and deer without issue, but he is still inexperienced with trailer loading. He has been on a trailer once or twice but has never been fully loaded or transported. He requires a patient, clear handler to guide him through this process.  

Gigolo is a true heart horse: affectionate, people-oriented, and full of charm. As a typical pony, he is very food-motivated, works with enthusiasm, and wants to do everything right. However, he is not suitable for everyone – he is not a beginner’s horse, as he is sensitive and possesses a lot of energy. He needs a trusting, confident handler who can provide him with security; then he becomes an absolute lifelong partner.  

The sale includes complete tack and equipment (military-style tack trunk, saddle, bridle, blankets, halter, etc.), as we are ceasing all riding activities.
