Whisky Bells is a son of the Grand Prix-winning Comthago VDL, who is performing successfully under Hessel Hoekstra. His oldest offspring are already making a strong impression as eight-year-olds at 1.45m level, including Noble Ami, Nena-Alve DV and Cawamia. His dam, Ciao Bella, combines the valuable Grand Prix sires Heartbreaker and Numero Uno.

She has already produced the international 1.30m performers Pinot Grigio, who achieved notable success in young horse competitions under Esther Blekkink, and C Malibu Z. This direct damline has also produced the 1.45m horse I’m Number One Z. The family is further renowned through the top showjumper Silvana, with whom Kevin Staut won multiple Grand Prixs and World Cup competitions.
