Montana is a stunning, charming, and well-mannered mare with an excellent work attitude and a wonderfully comfortable seat. She impresses with her rideability, her connection to her rider, and her motivation – she wants to please her rider and always works with engagement. 

Under saddle, she demonstrates willingness to perform, is light in the contact, and offers a pleasant, consistent connection. She can be ridden with gentle aids, requiring no excessive strength, and provides a very harmonious riding experience.

In the show jumping ring, she is reliable, attentive, and always eager to go to the other side. Due to her rideability and good basic gaits, I can also easily envision her excelling in dressage.

Montana is easy to re-ride for anyone and is well-behaved. However, she is not suitable as a beginner or children's horse.

At competitions and in training, she jumps reliably and confidently (plank, water, series, wall, etc.), although she can be somewhat environmentally sensitive.

Montana has competed up to A-level show jumping with scores up to 7.8, won a style jumping class with an 8.1, and has competed in young horse classes up to L. She took a break from competition last year due to my maternity leave, and I have also competed sparingly this year – so she remains relatively fresh.

Montana is healthy, regularly vaccinated, dewormed, and osteopathically treated. Her teeth were checked and treated this year. She is also shoe- and loading-broomer safe.

A trial ride is possible at any time by arrangement.
