We are looking for a new home for our lovable XXL gelding. Chrysmas is a 13-year-old German Sport Horse by Chrysanthus x Cachas, standing approximately 17.2 hh. Chrysmas, affectionately known as Clausi, is always friendly and in a good mood. He is the kind of horse you simply cannot help but love. He will do anything for treats and may even show off the occasional little trick
In terms of sport, Clausi is an experienced competition horse. He has been placed up to Medium-level show jumping tests and, while in our ownership, achieved numerous placings at Novice and Elementary level in show jumping. He has also gained placings up to Advanced Medium level in dressage. After many wonderful years, however, he showed us this year that competing is no longer really his thing. He would much rather enjoy relaxed rides at home or go on an extensive hack through the countryside. Of course, the occasional small jump should not be missing either. He is always motivated and in a good mood.
Thanks to his versatile training, Clausi is a good schoolmaster from whom one can learn a great deal in both show jumping and dressage.
Clausi suffers from allergies, so dust-free feed must be taken into account when feeding him. We steam his hay and feed his concentrates soaked. His stable is bedded with flax straw. He has coped very well with this for years and shows hardly any symptoms.
We are looking for a home where he will continue to be loved and where his special needs will be taken into consideration.
