For Sale: German Sport Horse – Versatility and Great Potential

We are offering our elegant, well-trained gelding Duke, born in May 2016. The chestnut impresses with his impressive height of 17.8 hh and his attractive appearance. As a versatile sport horse, he is suitable for eventing as well as demanding dressage and show jumping competitions.

The gelding is well-ridden, has been introduced at competitions, and has experience in cross-country up to CCI**. His solid basic training makes him an ideal partner for an ambitious rider seeking a horse with many possibilities. He has been ridden and presented at shows by a 17-year-old young rider but, due to his size and temperament, is better suited for experienced, strong riders. Not suitable for children or beginners. He tends to be somewhat dominant in handling and requires a confident handler who can establish clear leadership.

He enjoys hacking out, is fearless and well-behaved in the terrain, and has no trouble riding in groups, even at the back. He is familiar with cars, trucks, tractors, trains, and dogs. He loads calmly onto a trailer and loves children. He prefers daily turnout, preferably on grass pasture. He is not dominant in the herd, front and hind shoes are fitted.

This German sport horse impresses with his versatility and strong will, making him an all-round talent with plenty of potential for further achievements. Not suitable for beginner riders or for riding schools. Only available to a serious, top-quality home; no urgent sale.
