Aus Zeitmangel suchen wir schweren Herzens für unseren 11-jährigen Deutschen Reitpony-Wallach Noah ein neues, dauerhaftes Zuhause. Noah ist ein hübscher Rappe mit ca. 1,46 m Stockmaß. Er wird überwiegend freizeitmäßig geritten und wurde in der Halle auch etwas dressurmäßig gearbeitet. Charakter & Reiten Noah ist ruhig, lieb und angenehm im Umgang. Er kennt Halle und Gelände und geht alleine sowie in der Gruppe ins Gelände. Er wird auch von unserer 10-jährigen Tochter geritten. Am Führzügel ist er unkompliziert, sodass auch kleinere Kinder unter entsprechender Aufsicht auf ihm sitzen können. Trotzdem ist Noah kein Anfängerpony. Im Gelände ist er sehr aufmerksam und kann sich auch einmal erschrecken. Dann braucht er einen ruhigen und erfahrenen Reiter, der ihm Sicherheit gibt. Er ist herdenverträglich, aber eher ranghoch und steht aktuell problemlos in einer Dreiergruppe. Gesundheit & Haltung Bei Noah wurde vor ca. 4 Jahren Asthma diagnostiziert. Wir haben daraufhin seine Haltung konsequent umgestellt. Unter seiner jetzigen Haltungsform ist er seitdem beschwerdefrei. Er benötigt dauerhaft eine möglichst staubarme Haltung mit viel Frischluft und Bewegung, idealerweise 24/7-Weide- bzw. Offenstallhaltung. Klassische Boxenhaltung sowie überwiegende bzw. reine Heufütterung kommen für ihn nicht infrage, da dies seine Atemwegsproblematik wieder auslösen kann. Due to lack of time, we are, with a heavy heart, seeking a new, permanent home for our 11-year-old German Riding Pony gelding Noah. Noah is a handsome black stallion with an approximate height of 1.46 m. He is primarily ridden for leisure and has also been lightly trained in dressage in the indoor arena. Character & Riding Noah is calm, gentle, and easy to handle. He is familiar with both indoor and outdoor riding and is comfortable riding alone or in a group. He is also ridden by our 10-year-old daughter. On a lead rein, he is straightforward, making him suitable for small children under proper supervision. However, Noah is not a beginner pony. He can be attentive and may startle in the terrain. He requires a calm, experienced rider who can provide him with confidence and security. He is herd-compatible but tends to be more dominant and currently gets along well in a trio group. Health & Care Approximately four years ago, Noah was diagnosed with asthma. Since then, we have adjusted his housing accordingly. Under his current management, he has been free of respiratory issues. He needs a consistently low-dust environment with plenty of fresh air and movement, ideally turnout 24/7 or in an open stable. Traditional box stall housing and hay-only feeding are not suitable, as they could trigger his respiratory problems.
