Grady is a beautiful true red roan and he will build your confidence levels!!! He is a 16.1h, 5 years old, draft cross Gelding! He is a big stout built guy but he is light on his feet, lopes around as soft and easy as a 14h horse, takes the correct leads, lopes nice circles, reins around and stops with ease! He is totally safe for any age and any level of rider and has been ridden by our 6 year old. He has been ridden inside and out. Grady loves attention and is as friendly as they come plus he is very calm natured! He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe. He is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He has been on several week-long camping trips. He hauls well and picketline ties also. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been ridden around the ranch to check cattle, ride fences and used at brandings to drag calves. Grady has been started jumping over rails and logs as well.
