Maysouna of Hohenholz – a truly special daughter of VAG Elea and Mefisto

She comes from the strong, rare maternal line of Manda. A friendly, well-trained riding and performance pony with roots in ancient Polish and Old German bloodlines.

Her sire, Mefisto, is a performance-tested and exceptionally well-behaved stallion. He scored a 9.0 in both trot and canter! He successfully competed in races with a 85 GAG rating, participated in CEI** 120 km events, and was the Baden-Württemberg champion. Mefisto impresses with above-average gaits and excellent conformation as a riding horse.

Her dam, Elea, has been with us on the farm for the past 1.5 years. Many horses from this line are successful in endurance riding. Among others, Elea’s full brother completed a CEI 160 km, her half-brother also competed at CEI 160 km, and she participated in the World Championships. Elea herself successfully completed distances up to 80 km before going into breeding. She has a lovable character and is versatile—equally happy pony-riding with small children, participating in GHT, or being focused and highly motivated in endurance training. She is very people-oriented and is a favorite among many at the farm.

Maysouna was born in May and has been growing up with peers ever since. She enjoys her childhood in a spacious open stall with adjoining pastures.

Since life at our farm is always lively, she is accustomed to the bustling farm environment with tractors, many children, donkeys, goats, dogs, other animals, and farm machinery. Maysouna is halter-trained, well-behaved for hoof care, and already knows how to load onto a trailer. She is curious and eager to explore the world every day.

At the inspection, Maysouna was awarded the distinction of “very good” twice by the commission.

We are looking for a suitable, species-appropriate home where she can grow up with her peers.
