Popeye is ready to be your new best friend! This 8 year old Appaloosa gelding is friendly, kind and is always the first one to greet you at the gate. Popeye stands 14.2 with good bone and shape to him. While he lacks in a tail department, he makes up for it with his big heart and willingness to please! He is gentle and easy to get along with, without being a lazy boy. Popeye has a ground covering walk out on the trails and loves to go out for adventures. He’s not spooky and will cross anything you ask him to. He is comfortable around dogs, traffic, tractors, and loud noises and gets along well with other horses. He has been hauled around a few times to events for exposure and handles new environments with ease. Popeye has a nice handle in the arena and rides one handed or two, and has a good stop and turn around and back up. We have played around with him on the barrels a couple times now and he seems to really enjoy that as well! He would make a great horse for playdays or even be a great rope horse prospect. Popeye has wonderful ground manners, he stands tied, bathes, loads and hauls. He is well behaved for the farrier and is currently shod on all four. He is sound with no maintenance. Popeye wants to be someone’s best buddy, make him your number one and I’m sure he’ll move mountains for you! Located in Marana Arizona, and we are happy to help arrange shipping anywhere!
