A Willing Heart and a Good Mind. Cruz is a 10-year-old Appaloosa gelding standing 14.2 hands, and he’s been an absolute pleasure to have in the program. From day one, this horse has shown nothing but try. He’s come along beautifully — soft, willing, and always ready to please. Cruz lopes smooth, correct circles, has a nice stop, and works off a light neck rein. He’s been around cattle, pushed them up the lane, and helped with gathering. Out on the trail, he’s sure-footed, confident, and steady through anything — rocks, water, bridges, brush, and commotion are no big deal to him. He’s been ridden down busy streets and handles traffic, dogs, flags, tarps, and balls without a fuss. Cruz isn’t the kind you have to hold together — he’s naturally calm, non-spooky, and honest about every task you ask of him. He clips, ties, bathes, and hauls like he’s been doing it all his life, and he settles right in anywhere you take him. He stalls well, pastures quiet, and loves people — always the first to meet you at the gate, ears up and ready to go. Cruz is safe, and willing with a great foundation and the right attitude to go any direction you’d like. Whether you’re looking for a solid partner to grow with or a kind, dependable trail horse to enjoy for years, this boy will make you proud every ride.
