Sylvie floats across the ground, is fancy-broke, and gentle as they come. Comfortable, easy, predictable, and fun to ride – Sylvie can go western and english. She has a lovely pitter patter jog and will step up into a ground covering extended trot. Her canter is LOVELY – like riding in the world’s softest rocking chair. Sylvie will take care of her rider. She is light, soft, and responsive in her aids. She loves to work for you and is a huge people pleaser. She has been used for basic ranch chores AND has been lightly pasture roped off of! She walks right through the water confidently, crosses bridges, great with traffic/cars weaving around her, good with dogs, and has been used on cattle a bit. Sylvie has never offered to buck, rear, or bolt. Stands great for the farrier, cross ties, clips, easy to catch, loads/backs out, not quirky or stand off-ish on the ground, she is right in your pocket and ADORES attention/scratches/grooming. Sylvie is kind and is not “mare-ish” or sassy which I appreciate in a mare. She has been taken on numerous trail rides and been shown at the local ranch riding series.
