Meet the one and only, "Basil"! Basil is a 14.3 hand, Quarter Horse mare, standing a stout and firm 1,200 pounds, with lots of muscle. She checks all the boxes for anyone wanting a good, steady, consistent ranch horse. Basil loves attention, and is always looking for her next friend! She is consistant eveytime you take her out. Whether your going for a trail ride, team penning event, cow sorting in the field, or even take her to a reining event, shes always the same! Basil has been riddin by my 15 year old daughter on trail rides, and she is always the same ole, same ole! She has absolutely no buck, rear, kick, or bite. She does not require any maintenance or shoes. Basil has clean legs and is ready to go! Basil spins very easily with leg pressure. She has a nice slow collected trot and lope, or you can open her up as well and she'll kill it, everytime. She is 100% neck reined and leg pressure trailed. She does phonomal roll backs and will really get underneath herself. She is not spooky and takes to new places perfectly. She has a "stop dead in her tracks" stop. She backs very easily, and is very light mouthed. She is very controllable in any situation you put her in. She jumps right in the trailer, and you never know she's back there while hauling. She does great for the ferrier and to be bathed. Basil is suitable for any age of person from youth rider to adult.
