If you want the gelding everyone dreams of but few own, take a look at Sailor!! Sailor, as we call him, is a 9 Yr old chestnut roan Quarter Horse gelding that is well broke to ride. He neck reins, side passes, has a good turn around and follows it with a good stop. Sailor is the type of gelding you can put anyone from 3 years old to 83 years old and make them look like a professional. He rides the same everyday you saddle him. He has a smooth walk, trot and a teacup canter. We have used him on trails up in the mountain and with no hesitation, he goes wherever you point him. We have also taken him downtown with all the commotion and he handles it like a walk in the park. We have pasture roped off him and he enjoys every minute of it. Sailor is very gentle and quiet enough for my little boys to play with and ride in the arena. He is the first gelding my 5 yr old son was able to lope both leads with. He would make a great lesson horse as he does not get easily excited. Sailor can also ride English and take a little jump. He is the type that if you ask him to do it, he will give it his all.
