Rambo is a pretty 7 year old bay roan gelding. He stands a stout 15.1 hands and is thick made with good bone. Rambo has seen many outside miles and long days rounding up cattle in the high country. He is sure footed when it comes to navigating all different types of terrain. Rambo crosses water, bogs, steep country and downfall with ease. Rambo has done every aspect of ranch work. He has roped and doctored calves, side passes to open gates, sacked out, and everything in between. We have also rode Rambo in the arena, he will pick up his leads, moves his shoulders, ribs, and hind quarters with ease. We have roped out of the box on him. Rambo is cowy, quick and will put you where you need to be on the steer. Rambo doesn’t stay hot after chasing a steer. He will settle down and walk away. I have let my 7 year old ride him around in the arena and track the dummy on him. Rambo took good care of him and slowed down his pace even more for him. I have also let a 86 year old gentleman ride him, Rambo was a gentleman through and through and took care of him. Rambo has literally been rode by everyone. He is sacked out and has gone through our obstacle course which includes a teeter todder bridge, pool noodles and tarp. He’s been around ATVS, cars and semi trucks. Not much phases him. Rambo would make a great trail and mountain horse, ranch horse or an enjoyable pleasure horse. He has never offered to hump or buck even with time off. Any one who is confident and knows the basics can get along with him. Just like with any good ranch gelding he does have some old scars that don’t affect him in any way. He stands quiet at the hitching post but is aware of what is going on around him, he is good to shoe and hot shoe. He bathes and hauls great. This gelding is special and has a big heart. He is willing and always wants to please. Selling with a current PPE. We welcome anyone who would like to see him before he sales to come out to our place and try him out.
