The stunning Quarter Horse gelding In Like Feona, born in May 2019, is looking for a new home because his owner no longer has enough time for him. Finn is a dark chestnut gelding, standing approximately 14.2 hh, with a compact, correct conformation and a good foundation. He was raised under the best conditions and has been gently trained for over two years. His sire, In Like Flinn (by Topsail Whiz), and his dam, RS Balblair Jac (by McJac Flash), give him an outstanding reining pedigree. Finn is a great mover, has really good stops and is simply a joy to work with. He is motivated, pleasant to ride and always tries his best to do everything right. His excellent mind is particularly impressive. Finn is an incredibly kind, calm and people-oriented gelding who is absolutely uncomplicated in everyday handling. He is also well-behaved and reliable under saddle, making him suitable for less experienced riders with appropriate guidance. He happily hacks out alone and is safe in the countryside. He has already demonstrated his ability in the show pen, winning the VWB Reining Open with a score of 71 and placing third in the NRHA SBH Reining Open with a score of 70.5. He is also an NRHA USA Money Earner and nominated for NRHA Germany and Euro. Finn is ready to show and is suitable for Reining Open and Non Pro as well as Ranch classes. Thanks to his wonderful character, he is equally a fantastic partner for pleasure riding. The gelding is healthy and has never been lame or seriously ill. He is 5-panel n/n, regularly vaccinated and dewormed, and is well-behaved for the farrier and when loading. He is accustomed to both group turnout and stable keeping, goes barefoot in front and can be shod behind with sliding plates when required. A truly wonderful, honest gelding with plenty of quality, a great character and everything one could wish for in a good reining horse. A lovely home is sought where he can continue to develop and bring his new owner just as much joy. Directly from the breeder.
