Very well broke in the bridle, necks reins and very responsive to the leg. For this reason, Burt is not suitable for a beginner but a novice and up rider would get along perfectly fine. Trails rides and has performed all the trail obstacles. Started over fences with scope to easily make a very nice jumping horse. Would also make an exceptional dressage prospect.
