Buddy is a beautiful Golden Palomino/Blonde Sorrel Gelding that is very stocky built, he is 6 years old, is standing 15.2hh and he is a looker! He is a draftcross horse that has completed the natural horsemanship program, is very friendly and loves attention!! He knows some tricks as well as he will lay down on command. Buddy has done it all from being ridden by small children down the highways to being ridden around the ranch, checked cows, rode fences and cruised the trails. He has been used at brandings and drug calves to the fire. He is a laid back type of guy that will just plod along down the trails with no hesitation and not in a hurry. He has been on camping trips and has been ridden by all ages of riders from 6 to 86 that guy will be safe and easy to ride. When out on the ranch or going down the trails he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He is safe in traffic whether that be trucks or cars. He walks on a loose rein, has a nice jog, his lope is slow and collected plus he lopes very nice circles on a loose/draped rein! Buddy is a great horse for the whole family! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey. He is athletic and does great under English tack and goes over the rails with ease. He is harness broke for all farm machinery and buggies.
