Trapper is a 6-year-old, 14-hand gelding and an own son of NCHA money earner Trapper Cat, by the legendary High Brow Cat.
Trapper has a great start and is an outstanding prospect with all the tools to excel in a variety of directions. He rides around nicely in the arena, walking, trotting, and loping collected circles with a good handle and a nice stop. He is soft in the face, willing, and has the athletic ability and cow sense you’d expect from his pedigree.
Outside the arena, Trapper has been trail ridden extensively and handles new places with confidence. We’ve taken him through town, through drive-thrus, around busy traffic, and through city parks without issue. He has also recently been started ranching and gathering cattle, where he has shown a natural interest in working livestock and a willingness to go wherever he’s asked.
