He is 5 years old and is a sturdy built horse. Ponch came from the same breeding farm that a lot of our draftcrosses come from and with that farm we find the constant quiet, gentle, laid back temperment that makes them such good family safe trail horses! Ponch is no exception to that statement as he is a super quiet, gentle, laid back type of horse that is going to suit any rider and help build your confidence. Not to mention he is very friendly as well! Ponch can do a variety of things from pulling carriages, to ranch work or trail rides. Ponch has been on camping trips, been ridden in several states and has been ridden by all ages of beginners. When out on the ranch or going down the trails he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe in traffic safe whether that be trucks or cars. He’s been ridden around the ranch, checked cows and rode fences. Ponch moves very smoothly, as he has a nice jog, his lope is smooth as well and he lopes nice circles on a loose rein!
