There aren’t many horses like Henry — talented, kind, and just plain fun to be around.
Henry is a 5-year-old gelding by the legendary 4 million dollar sire, Hollywoodstinseltown. He’s a rich, dark brown with a striking copper-red mane and tail, a cute little face, and ears full of expression that show off his personality. He will meet you at the gate and loves to be around people! Henry is the kind of horse people notice and remember — sweet, friendly, and approachable.
He’s a finished reiner with all the right buttons — big, confident stops when you say “whoa,” easy turnarounds, smooth departures, and a slow, cadenced lope that feels comfortable and correct. He’s soft, honest, and uncomplicated. He can show off when you ask him to, but he’s just as happy to keep it easy and quiet.
While reining is his foundation, Henry could also step right into ranch riding. His extended trot is fancy and ground-covering, his jog is smooth and cute, and his lope departures are easy. He carries himself with presence in the arena and has that kind of look judges notice.
Henry would make a great non-pro horse, a solid youth partner, or just a really nice horse to enjoy at home or on the trails. He’s push-button, quiet, and forgiving — a horse you can trust every ride. You can step him up for a show, or hop on him bareback in a halter and just play around — he’s that versatile. He has the mind and talent to go in whatever direction you would like!
Outside the arena, Henry is confident and relaxed. He’ll ride out alone with no hesitation, goes over bridges, and gets along great with other horses. In the barn, he’s a total gentleman. Henry is an easy keeper, stands tied patiently, lunges with slack in the line, loads easily, stands still for you to get on, and loves a bath in the wash rack. Henry loves treats and attention, and he’ll happily let you shower him with affection — but he’s always respectful of your space too.
Henry handles time off well and comes back quiet and ready to go. He is up to date on everything, ready with a Coggins, and we are happy to help arrange shipping nationwide or even internationally! Henry has a set of clean X-rays linked below, and we have also provided a vet letter stating he is in good standing in the gallery above.
A talented, broke reiner with the versatility to step into ranch riding — Henry is kind, dependable, and a pleasure to have around. We invite everyone to come out to our ranch in Whitesboro, Texas, to meet and try Henry — we know you’ll love him as much as we have!
