VV Cat Cuttin Boon, affectionately known around the barn as Creek, is a once-in-a-lifetime, fun for the whole family type of horse you don’t want to miss out on! Standing at 15 hands, Creek is built muscular, thick, and correct, which will allow him to excel in all areas from the branding pen to the show arena.
We cannot say enough great things about this truly unique gelding. Although just
four years old, Creek is an old soul who naturally possesses a calm, gentle, and quiet personality that makes him safe for riders of any age or skill level. He has absolutely no buck in him and is the same whether you ride him every day or pull him out of a pasture once a month. He has no vices or bad habits and is an absolute pleasure to be around.
Creek has been hauled extensively, both by himself and with other horses. He is easy-going and gets along well in a herd if turned out.
As a 3 year old, he was used on the Babbitt Ranch in Williams, Arizona, to gather and work cattle; he can go all day and handle any type of terrain. Earlier this year, he was started in the roping pen, on both the heading and heeling side, and shows great potential. Creek also has the fancy buttons to become a successful Ranch Versatility horse. He is light in the bridle, and moves off of leg cues with ease. Trail patterns and obstacles do not bother him and he will go anywhere you send him without hesitation. However, if guns and speed are more your thing, look no further! Creek is an excellent mounted shooting horse who is eligible for the 2025 CMSA Futurity and 2026 CMSA Derby.
Creek is hobble broke, ground ties, stands quietly for the farrier, and loads in any type of
trailer. You can ride him bareback, bridleless, or double, and he's as much fun out on the trails as he is in an arena. I have never ridden a horse with such a sweet and willing-to-please personality. Creek is up to date on deworming, coggins, farrier, and dental. For more information or to schedule a test ride before the sale ends, please give us a call at (940) 600-0111. Shipping arrangements can be made. This one is truly special, so you don’t want to let him get away!
