Cowboy stands 15 hands tall and has a unique palomino pattern coat to him. He goes back to the famous Peppy San Badger and Doc O’Lena right on his papers. If you have been looking for that all around good broke, safe, reliable and dependable horse then look no further than Cowboy! He’s just 4yrs old but he is broke. He absolutely loves attention and is easy to catch. He will actually catch you in the field. He is one of my favorite horses to take out and have a nice relaxing trail ride on. Cowboy excels on the trail and is literally as close as you can get to the best trail horse. Trail ride him out alone or with other horses he goes thru anything you ask him to on the trail. He will cross the water, logs, bridges and up and down the cliffs. He has been on the same ranch in Colorado since a yearling and has been used on the ranch to work cattle daily. He’s roped cattle in the pasture and drug them to branding pits, doctored and pushed cattle. Cowboy also rides nicely in the arena. He has a nice one finger neck rein, good stop, back up, side pass and open/close gates. He will walk, trot and lope with ease. He is very well trained but is also super easy and not complicated to ride at all. Cowboy stands for the farrier, baths, grooming, fly spray, tacking and to get on. Stands good at the mounting black to mount and dis mount or anything you can find. Cowboy is the whole package, good looks, perfect young age, quiet, gentle, safe and very well trained! He is young enough to go any direction you want and you won’t be disappointed. Cowboy can do anything from be a family trail horse, ranch horse or arena horse. The sky's the limit for this super nice all around young Palomino gelding.
