Speeder is an exceptional 3 yr old gelding that has as much chrome as he does character. He’s a gentleman with a loving demeanor making him safe for the family to be around.
Speeder stands around 14.3-15hh, is easy on the eyes, and a joy to be around. He’s no stranger when it comes to work. On the ranch, he’s been used in many different environments and situations from checking and trailing cows, to shipping pairs, doctoring, or exploring rugged country. He’s one who always aims to please.
Speeder knows how to maneuver his way around rocks, logs, brush, bridges, and other obstacles, and does so with confidence and ease.
In the arena, Speeder is extremely soft really supple in the face and throughout his whole body, and is a super pretty mover ready for someone to make him their next ranch rider. He carries his lead low, and travels on a loose rein. He wants to ride slow, safe, and balanced. Speeder collects up nicely, picks up his leads has a great stop and is starting to spin. He’s tracked the smarty, and cows in the pasture, as well as has been started ranch roping in the pasture.
Speeder has been desensitized to different whips, tarps, noodles, flags, plastic bags, ropes, cars, etc... helping to make him a safe and confident citizen. He’s handsome, and easy to be around. Speeder is extremely user friendly, and has been handled and rode by all levels of riders. His quiet mind, and willingness to please is what sets him apart and makes him the perfect candidate for any soul searching for a life long partner and friend.
