Denim is a 12 year old grade gelding standing 15 hands tall and full made. This gelding is a TOTAL sweetheart. He is safe, sane, sound, and a true confidence builder. In the arena, down the trails, through town Denim is as solid as they come and takes care of his rider every single time. Leave him sit for months on end he will walk up the gate with the same loving personality, saddle with no issues, and ride off without a single fuss. He is type of gelding that reminds you why you love horses so much. He is an easy keeper, a total baby sitter, and such a joy to be around. On the trails Denim will cross water, slow step down steep ditches, walk quietly over logs,and goes through mud without a bobble. He has been on family camping trips all over the US. Denim hauls quietly, stalls well, and adapts to any new environment with zero drama. He has ZERO spook. I swear we have thrown every crazy thing we could think of at this guy and he never batted an eye. This is the type of gelding that dosent become available everyday and we are very blessed to be able to represent him. He will teach your kids, friends, cousins, and heck maybe even the dog how to ride. In the arena Denim will walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein. He is easy to stop and backs well. A true one hand neck rein. Denim is very forgiving of inexperienced riders. An accidental yank, kick, pull- he stays level headed and carries on without a fuss. He is easy to catch, stands tied, loads well, good for the farrier and vet. He is a true beginner safe horse! The previous owners did rope the head side and won a few saddles and buckles. We are not ropers so I do not have videos of him doing so but if that is something up your alley he marks the box!
