AQHA 2015 Rockets Leo Bar
"Rusty" is a stunning 10 year grey gelding who turns heads everywhere he goes. He is a register Bay Roan but greyed out as he got older. Standing a perfect 14.3 hands tall, Rusty is built right-with a good balanced conformation, strong bone, and a kind expression.
Rusty is naturally gentle, well broke and rides one-handed. He is soft in the bridle, and remains calm and consistent in all situations. He's family-friendly and suitable for riders of all levels, offering a smooth and enjoyable ride whether you're in the arena or out on the trail. Rusty will stand at a mounting block for you to get on and off. He will stand tied, stands to saddle and groom. He’s been on several overnight and week long trail rides and does great in new places. You can tie him to a picket line with no issues. Rusty will load and unload his self on the trailer and is no stranger to a ramp.
On the trail, Rusty is confident and steady-he crosses water, maneuvers through rough terrain, and handles obstacles with ease.
With a solid ranching background, he is well-versed in pushing, sorting and roping cattle, and is no stranger to daily ranch chores. He steps right into a lope with ease and stays collected. Slow lopes circles both ways, stays in his correct leads, and side-passes to open and close gates.
This guy absolutely earns his keep and will be a favorite at anyone's barn. Easy keeper, low-low on the totem pole. He will not be cinchy, humpy and time off does not bother him.
Rusty will ride bridle-less, bareback, turns around nicely and has a good stop. They just don't come any better than Rusty. He has been in good hands all of his life, and he is looking for his next best life.
