Eve Jobs finished third in Doha with Canto Bruno.

In January, Canto Bruno, ridden by Eve Jobs, finished third in the 1.60m Grand Prix at Doha. Last year, he placed seventh in the Rolex Grand Prix of Windsor. He is a grandson of Cassandra, making him a cousin of that mare.

Cassandra is the cornerstone of this lineage. Six of her eleven offspring have jumped 1.30m or higher. The best among them is Quite Nice 5, who has cleared 1.55m and finished second at the CSI4* in Balvanera with Gonzalo Azcárrega. She also won individual gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz and previously qualified with Arne van Heel at the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken.

Great-grandmother Caroline produced the award-winning stallion Le Carolus and Larenza van de Dwerse Hagen, both successful at 1.50m. The dam, Baloutina, a daughter of Balou du Rouet out of Cassandra, is still young. Juliette Z is her third foal. The sire, J-Nius V.V. Z, licensed with AES and Zangersheide, is a piebald son of Little Indian out of a Ugano-Sitte mare. What this family can achieve is now demonstrated by Canto Bruno in five-star arenas.
