This gorgeous Warmblood gelding is 7years old and measures just over 16.1HH, to mature to 16.2-16.3HH. His bloodlines include the famous Holsteiners Con Air by Contender and Henry Jotas lines. With his impeccable conformation, perfect hunter canter, and flawless jumping form, this 10+ mover is destined to win big! Lalo has what it takes to be your next top SHOW HUNTER! As a yearling, Lalo won 1st place in hunter breeding and 5th place in USHJA Zone Horse of the Year for hunter breeding. He is now ready to hit the show circuit and bring home ribbons in the hack classes and over fences. Lalo has had extensive flatwork training inside the arena and out. He will walk, trot, canter on a loose rein for hunters or collect into a frame for dressage. He rides nicely off of the seat and leg and has a soft mouth. Lalo jumps 2’3” and schools cross country. He will be ready to show 2’3”-2’6” this year and is eligible for the green hunter divisions. On his days off from schooling dressage and jumping, Lalo enjoys riding Western and going for trail rides. He has mastered all the Western basics – a great stop, back up, lateral work, yielding the forequarters/hindquarters, etc. He is good with traffic and does not mind riding out alone. He has been hauled all over for trail obstacle practice, riding lessons, and local horse shows. While Lalo has clear hunter potential, he could easily shine in dressage, equitation, jumping, or eventing. He is VERSATILE and could excel in any discipline! Lalo is a barn favorite with excellent manners and a sweet, willing temperament. He could easily be brought along by an adult amateur or junior rider in a program.
