The dam My Hawk’s Esmeralda combines bloodlines from the leading sires Emerald v Ruytershof and Cardento. She descends from mare family 23, which has produced competition horses in both jumping and dressage for generations.
The granddam Carpe Diem has competition merits in 130 jumping classes.
The great-granddam Salli is an Elite Mare who produced many offspring that performed well in the jumping arena. Zarastro (by Robin Z) competed for many years in 150 jumping with Caroline Persson. His younger full siblings Da Capo and Zarastro II competed in 135 classes, while Gino (by Cardento), Flying Surprise (by Feliciano) and Zarastra (by Robin Z) all competed in 130 jumping. Gino and Dacapo were also awarded jumping premiums at the young horse test.
The option to have the foal stay with the breeder after weaning is available.
