We would love to introduce Blackstones Charles. This 6 year old 17hh spotted draft gelding has it all. From his captivating personality to his stunning conformation and painted color. Charles lacks nothing. Charles is the type of horse who wants to be your best friend. He plays well with all the others outside and will catch you when you walk to the pasture. Charles is extremely well broke. He walk, trots, canters and stops on a dime. His transitions are flawless both upward and down. Charles steers off seat and leg so well you don’t even need a bridle. He will gladly take a bit, snaffle or shank he’s not fussy or just pull the bridle right off and he steers with all leg ques. He builds you up every ride and makes you want to get on. Charles has loads of experience out on the trails from the mountains of MO to the open fields of MI he’s seen it. Water, deep woods, roads, wildlife no problem. Charles has been ridden in groups of 40 horses. He will take any place you ask in the group and is not one to get worked up. He’s also been out alone. He’s been driven single and double. He has worked in busy city's, in traffic and crowds of people. He stands to harness. He stands at stop signs and he will stand for passengers to get on and off the carriage. He has a great amount of training in the arena as well. He will easily steep into the lope, and can canter small circles on both leads. Charles is very balanced and light on his feet. He’s completed our desensitizing program. Pool noodles, tarps and bridges are all no problem for him. He is a very brave horse.
