Spotted Saddle Gaited Trail Mare

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Willow. Willow is a gorgeous 15-hand black and white Spotted Saddle horse Mare. Willow was born and raised on the same farm where she has been handled and loved since day one. Willow is a special girl looking for a special home. Willow has a nice smooth natural gait that is hard to find, if you’re looking for a gait that doesn’t bounce you and is comfortable to ride for hours, she has it. I have to mention that if you like to canter, Willow has a beautiful, fun canter and will pick up her leads in both directions of the arena if you ask her, and will willingly canter out in the open. Willow has been to fun shows and extensively trail ridden. Willow rides on the road and has no problem with traffic. Steep rocky terrain? No problem, she is very sure-footed, pays attention, and takes you wherever you ask her to. No mountain seems to be too steep for her; she crosses ditches, water, logs, and rocks. If you want to relax and walk the trails for hours, that’s fine by her. Willow stands quietly tied; she does well in crossties or just normally tied. She is very easy to catch, is great at handling her feet, tacks, and loads with ease.
Willow rides comfortably in a group. l have ridden her out alone a lot and she is a champ about it, l have had no issues along the way ever. My 12-year-old niece occasionally rides bareback, without a bridle. Carrying the flag with her at a canter with no hands is her absolute favorite thing to do with her, and Willow loves it! We have had her pastured as well as in the stall when the weather isn’t cooperating, and she does great with both. She isn’t bossy and gets along with everyone.
