Aaron is not a beginner horse. He spent much of his life as a stallion and requires a handler who can earn a higher rank in his eyes. In this dynamic, he shows a great deal of respect, trust, and attention. He feels most comfortable with a main person he can rely on, enjoys trail riding very much, and works exceptionally well as part of a team.

His gaits are very easy to sit, he responds to very subtle aids, is highly agile, and prefers neck reining in a Western style. Excessive bit pressure is not an issue for him. He is very clever and eager, possesses a lot of energy (even in his gait), and loves to learn. However, he needs a very consistent handler to reach his full potential.

He enjoys groundwork, natural horsemanship, trail riding, and playful exercises that challenge his mind. Thanks to his agility, he is also well-suited for barrel racing and slalom.
