Meet Pistachio, a talented Warmblood gelding with the substance, athleticism, and presence of a quality sport horse. Pistachio has been in a consistent, professional training program and is truly broke in the bridle and through his body. He is soft, supple, and correctly connected from back to front, with a lovely feel in the reins and a willing, adjustable way of going. Pistachio is soft and relaxed through his face, accepts the contact quietly, and is naturally inclined to work in a balanced frame. He is talented in his transitions, departures, and lead changes, with excellent body control, responsiveness to the aids, and a strong foundation on the flat.
His balanced way of going, combined with a big, beautiful, ground-covering stride and flat, efficient movement, makes him a natural prospect for the Hunter ring, while his athleticism and intelligence give him the potential to excel in the Jumper and Sport Horse divisions. Pistachio is currently going over jumps and confidently schools over ground poles and cavaletti. He is willing, brave, attentive, eager to please, and absolutely loves the water, making him an enjoyable partner for trail rides and outdoor adventures.
In addition to his English training, Pistachio is ridden Western daily, making him a versatile, well-rounded partner with a great work ethic and excellent adaptability. He has been used to gather pastures and has been dependable in real ranch situations, including doctoring sick cattle on him a handful of times. He is good to saddle, bathe, tie, and trailer, adding to his easygoing and practical nature. Pistachio also has a clean veterinary note available.
