Here we go again. The football world cup starts and you already fear the countless evenings of watching football with your partner, the packed beer gardens, and meeting screaming and yelling fans everywhere you go. If you’re not in the mood for this, there’s only one solution: going to the barn where there’s only you and the horses. But we’ve prepared some more tips for you to survive the football world cup.
Go for a hack with your mates
Call your equestrian friends, get your horses saddled, and pack some snacks. Going on a hack while everyone is watching the match is great because you can be sure to have the place for yourself.
Clean your tack cupboard
You hate opening your tack cupboard because you know that everything falls out as soon as you dare open the door? So, put an end to that chaos and take the chance a 90 min football match offers to tidy up. You may even find something that you thought you lost long ago or something you don’t need but is still good enough to sell online. That way, you can even earn some money for a new saddle pad or boots.
Wellness for your horse
While everyone else is watching football, you have plenty of time to occupy yourself elsewhere. How about giving this time to your horse and pampering it from head to hoof? A good grooming session, oiling hooves, a massage, your horse will surely love you and wish it was always football world cup 😀
Go shopping
The new collection is out, and you just can’t resist having a look. It doesn’t cost anything… but oops, you have ordered a few saddle pads and, of course, the matching bandages. And then you were tempted to look what’s new for the rider and got a new pair of breeches, too.
Maybe the order even arrives in time, so that you have another excuse for not being able to watch the upcoming match since you have to try out the new things right away.
Movie night
The remote is all yours tonight! Your man is watching football at the nearest pub, and you can get the popcorn ready and invite your friends to a movie-marathon.

There’s no loophole, and you have to watch football?
You couldn’t find a way to skip football today? Well, it won’t be that bad because you can at least spend time with your significant other!
