A serious accident occurred at a German “Schützenfest”. A horse spooked and broke loose. A man was seriously injured and several objects were damaged.
In Coesefeld (Germany), a horse broke loose at a traditional German festival and seriously injured a 34-year-old man. During the event, the horse spooked and then broke loose and ran away. During its flight, it collided with the man. The man was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital by rescue helicopter.
A 39-year-old man also had to be taken to hospital. He suffered shock during the incident. In addition, several bicycles were damaged by the horse. Finally, the horse could be caught, but the police are still investigating.
