For sale is a 5-year-old Lusitano mare from a high-quality bloodline. The mare has been carefully and patiently introduced to riding. Unfortunately, despite professional guidance, various training approaches, and plenty of time, she does not feel comfortable under saddle. Therefore, she is not offered as a riding horse. Outside of riding, Queiroga demonstrates great motivation and engagement in groundwork and free-moving exercises. She is suitable for long, relaxed walks alone or in a group. As a ground companion, she confidently walks all three gaits in the field. She is also familiar with the lunging arena and has a fearless nature, having experienced dogs, children, and tractors in her daily environment. The mare is uncomplicated in her management. Currently, she is kept in a small herd of mares in an open stable, but she is also accustomed to box stall housing. We are seeking a very good home for her, ideally with a breeder for breeding purposes or, alternatively, with a private individual looking for a healthy, valuable horse without riding ambitions. Her behavior under saddle has been thoroughly checked by a veterinarian. Further information can be provided upon request. Queiroga is not a distressed sale – quality before price. Please contact us for more details.
