Denver is a 4 year old 14.1h Haflinger gelding. Denver is a super sweet, laid back and easy going gelding that loves to trail ride and would make an excellent kids step-up mount or husband horse! Denver rides western and English and loves to jump! He would be the perfect addition to someone’s lesson program or as an all around family horse!
In the ring, Denver is very simple and easy to ride. He has a very comfortable walk, trot, canter and has smooth transitions. He has been started over fences and took right to it! We have had all levels of riders on Denver, he is enjoyable for everyone!
Off farm, Denver will ride out alone or with a group. He is safe for anyone to hit the trails on and takes care of his rider! Denver is traffic safe, he will cross over deadfall, rocks, creeks, bridges and doesn’t care about bikes, dogs, wildlife etc! He is a very relaxing, simple ride!
At home, Denver loves attention and is very friendly. He has good ground manners and is easy for the vet, farrier and dentist. He stands good in cross ties, he’s good to bathe, clip, groom, tack up etc! He does well in a stall or can be turned out in a mixed herd! He stays lower on the pecking order and is easy to catch from the field! Denver requires no maintenance or supplements, he is an easy keeper and he sells sound with no known vices!
