Shadow rides and drives; he is a horse that excels at whichever task you give him and aims to please. He is lovingly adored by his youth and adult riders, and enjoys attention from all humans.
Shadow dominates in the show ring with his eye-catching movement. He has been successfully shown by youth and adults in hand, western, English, saddleseat, over cross rails, and speed events - placing competitively in each discipline!
Not only does he prove himself with his show performance, Shadow has the sound and sane mind to take you safely down the trails. He has been hauled all over to multiple state parks, racked on tons of trail miles, crosses water and bridges, follows or leads. He’s used to dogs running around him during schooling and is not bothered by traffic. He has been stalled for weekend shows and stands well for bathing/banding/grooming.
He has been ridden in our local 4th of July parade and loved all the attention! He’ll pick you up at the mounting block, greet you at the gate, and be happy to clock in to work for the day. Shadow knows voice commands (driving) and is attentive to leg, hand, and seat commands under saddle. He has beautiful gaits, knows his leads, pivots nicely, and has a great stop. He would excel in dressage, but could go any direction his next partner wants to go and will put forth the effort to do it successfully.
Shadow truly is a special horse who will make someone a fantastic partner. We’re going to be sad to see this one go! Ties, loads, hauls, bathes, clips, etc. UTD all cares (chiro, worm, teeth, feet, vacc). Front shoes for show season. Will have current health certificate/PPE. Located Pickett, Wi. Hauling available.
