Sullivan is a big hunk of a gelding at the prime age of 7 years old and standing the perfect 16.1 hands. He has life experience in just about every aspect - trail riding, ranch work, jumping, driving, arena, etc. He has been exposed to a lot of the world like kids, pets, livestock, automobiles, bicycles, farm equipment, etc and we have hauled him to many different locations to see the sights and try new things.
Sullivan is a great trail mount and loves exploring the outdoors. He is always perky eared and seems to take everything in. He loves the water and will play in it if allowed. He is extremely sure footed and is always paying attention to where he is going. He will cross all the obstacles you point him at and has no problem going out alone or with others.
Sullivan has been used on the ranch and at the sale barn and has some cow sense and knows a days work. He is rope broke and has no problem pulling just about anything, opening/shutting gates, sorting etc.
Sullivan rides English and has been started over fences. He has definite potential to go on with and would make a great fox hunter. He stands for the mounting block or to be mounted from the ground.
Along with all the formal riding and experiences Sullivan is used to our family life of chaos with kids, balls, bicycles, goats, dogs, etc. He is safe to be around and has great manners. He is easy to catch, good for the farrier, pastures well with others and can also stall alone.
