Yukon is a 5 yr old draft cross gelding standing at 16.2hh. Yukon is well trained to ride!
He is a gentleman on the ground, and has a loving personality! He stands for grooming and tacking up! Yukon loves being in the pasture and gets along with our other horses. He is easy to catch as well! He stands good for the mounting block!
Yukon rides great out on the trails and on the road! He is traffic safe! He has also been around atvs, farm equipment, and is used to dogs as well! He is confident out on the trails! He is not scared of creeks or wild life. He steps over logs and is surefooted going up and down hills! Yukon will also go through all the obstacles, he doesn’t mind the tarp or the umbrella! He will also drag the milk jugs! Yukon is a seasoned trail partner!
Yukon rides very nice in the arena as well. He will ride English, Western, and bareback! He has 3 flowy gaits and is an absolute dream to ride! His walk, trot, canter is fun and easy to ride. He will pick up both leads, stops, and backs up! He will move some off of leg pressure and direct rein.
